A Short Loop
About 20 min · under a mile · Loop
From The Hop Pole Inn, turn left onto Lower Stoke. Walk towards Winsley Hill where you'll turn right. Under the bridge, and then over the bridge, look for a stile on your right which you'll cross to enter the field. Walk back up along the river, looking out for the weir approximately 200 yards. You'll see a wooden stile on your left which will lead you to the canal. Turn left and walk along the canal. You will come to Winsley Hill again, which you will go under. Loop around to rejoin this road and wander back the way you came towards The Hop Pole Inn.
