Cookies

An honest, complete list of what this site stores in your browser. Nothing here follows you around the internet, and nothing is hidden.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work; others are used to track people. We only use the first kind.

What we set

Your sign-in session. If you sign in, A Good Place stores a single essential token so the site remembers who you are between visits – it is what keeps you signed in, and what lets your saved places and wishlist appear. Without it, those features couldn't work. You can clear it at any time by signing out or clearing your browser storage; the site will simply forget you until you sign in again.

That is the whole list. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no social-media trackers.

When you sign in with Google

If you use "Continue with Google", Google's own sign-in window may set its own cookies, governed by Google's policies. We don't control those.

If things change

If we ever add analytics or advertising – for instance alongside affiliate links – we will update this page first, and ask for your consent where the law requires it before anything non-essential is set. See also our Privacy page.
